Patrick Daniel Dineen, MPSI is a registered pharmacist and PhD student. He holds a first-class honours Master of Pharmacy degree and the AstraZeneca Prize for academic excellence, awarded to the student with the highest overall marks in the final pharmacy examinations. Upon conferring, he was named valedictorian for his cohort. His experience spans both primary and secondary healthcare settings, including a period as acting Chief Pharmacist at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital and leading medication management programmes at Saint Joseph’s Community Hospital.

Patrick is committed to interdisciplinary research and making a real difference for patients. He participates in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences External Advisory Board and has contributed to auditing clinical hospital guidelines and managing antimicrobial awareness campaigns. Patrick is excited to dedicate the next four years to the SYNERG-IE project, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance care and research for Sjögren’s, making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
